Ensure you set the correct voltage for your equipment before use,
the correct voltage will be noted in the instructions for your equipment and probably on the input power socket and on your original power supply if you still have it.
Check the power requirement for the laptop before use! The same voltage,
but the amperage (current rating) can be same or higher on the power supply
Due to the wide variety in brands and models and the frequent release of new laptop models,
it is very likely that the power supply will work with your laptop, but please check if the plug type and power rating fits the needs of your laptop.
The power tips are moulded in such a way that they can only be inserted one way round providing a centre-positive – before use,
please check that this matches the polarity required by your laptop, and if in any doubt, seek professional guidance.
